Ulteo OVD v3 RC6 available & First Ulteo world tour!

1. Ulteo Open Virtual Desktop (OVD) v3.0 RC6 is publicly available for download now !

This is a pre-production ready version. Actually some real projects are going live with it as we speak and many organization have implemented live pilots with it already, but it is not yet completely polished.

We encourage you to do live pilots with Ulteo v3 RC6 during this summer and you'll get some special attention from our development team directly. If you want to take advantage of it please contact us at info@ulteo.com / subject "Doing live pilot with OVD v3 RC6".

2. We are getting ready to organize the first Ulteo world tour!

We got requests from dozens of countries across the world and so far we have only helped customers and partners remotely for the most part.

Now we are going to meet as many of you as possible by visiting a dozen of countries starting mid September until the end of the year.

The goal of this first Ulteo world tour will be to:

• present our new OVD v3 and answer your questions.
• do special press & bloggers meetings to communicate to new broader audience.
• sign up and train some customers and partners. Unfortunately there will be very limited training seats available in 2011, so please contact us as quickly as possible to book yours.

3. How can you help and get involved ?

Many of you are asking, so here are some ideas to contribute to Ulteo!

• tell the news: blog, media article, word of mouth, please tell about Ulteo. Real success are built like that. If you have contact with IT journalists or bloggers please send them to Ulteo so we can invite them to our press sessions.
• send us what you think of Ulteo, our solution and share with us your Ulteo success. It keeps us even more motivated and we will share feedback with others.
• translation: already 10 languages done, you can easily participate please contact us info@ulteo.com / subject "Want to help with translations"
• tests and send us bugs: report-ovd-bugs[@]ulteo.com
• implement and build on top of the Ulteo OVD: all the source code is available for download through the "Open Source" page on the website
