Ulteo Open Virtual Desktop

Ulteo Open Virtual Desktop is an installable Open Source virtual desktop and application delivery solution for corporations. It allows IT departments to deliver desktops and applications easily and at a lower cost than other solutions. It works in both a Windows and Linux environment. The Ulteo Open Virtual Desktop is very easy and fast to install: follow the documentation steps and get your first running installation in a few minutes only.

Prerequisites:

• At least two PCs installed with Ubuntu 8.04.1/x86-32 Server. Note: an installation HOWTO for RHEL 5.2 and Fedora 9, as well as a generic installation HOWTO for Linux servers, is also available.
• A 100Mbps or faster LAN
• Web browser clients: Firefox 2/3 or Internet Explorer 6/7, with Javascript enabled and the Java Runtime Environment 1.5/1.6
