Ulteo is the start up behind the Open Source Virtual Desktop and Application Delivery solutions for the fast growing virtual desktop market.
By leveraging an open source technical and commercial development Ulteo is bringing to the market the best of the open source and enterprise commercial world, in a more efficient, open and rapid manner and at a much lower costs.
With this commercial open source model, our goal is to become one of the global leaders in the virtual desktop space so that organizations of all size can get an independent, open (source) solution along side or instead of commercial, closed and more expensive alternatives.

Qui est derrière Ulteo ?

La société Ulteo a été créée par des entrepreneurs du monde du logiciel : Gaël Duval (fondateur de Linux-Mandrake, une distribution Linux populaire) et Thierry Koehrlen (co-fondateur de www.intalio.com, le n°1 du BPMS Open Source). Gaël et Thierry ont été rejoints par Vincent Branger, directeur Marketing Produit. Il apporte son expérience aussi bien du monde Linux/UNIX que de la commercialisation de solutions de virtualisation (Citrix, VMWare, Windows, Sun, etc.).

L'équipe de Recherche et Développement est constituée de développeurs passionnés du monde Open Source et venant de tous horizons. Ils mettent l'accent sur la simplification du travail de l'administrateur système, et la facilitation et l'unification de l'accès aux logiciels de l'entreprise pour les utilisateurs finals.
